Commenced in 1972 from Mr.Ching Pipatvet’s intellect, “J. Kitchareon Hardware” was a trading company for solvent and latex products. Consequent from Mr. Ching’s endeavor in growing the business, in 1974, the company started manufacturing building paints and industrial paints under NOC and Sunbeam brands, and both were registered under Sunbeam Paint Co.,Ltd. In line with its constant success, the business expanded rapidly under the name “Hato Paint Co.,Ltd., the first acrylic  paint manufacturer in Thailand.

In 1977, Mr. Ching opened a new factory in Pakred, Nonthaburi province, and registered as “Hato Paint (Thailand) Co.,Ltd.” Later in 1991, all three companies were merged and operated under “Hato Paint (J.K.R) Co.,Ltd.” Hato Paints (JKR) locates in Bangplee, Samutprakarn province. The company manufactures and sells gold acrylic paints, building paitns, industrial paints, latex adhesive for industrial applications, and resin. The company has also been granted a privilege to be an exclusive license to produce lacquer products in Thailand for “National Lacquer and Paint Products Co.,Ltd.” from Hong Kong. The lacquer products have been sold under “Camel” brand. Having taken quality of products and service seriously, the company was granted Industrial Standard from Thai Industrial Standard Institute and ISO 9001: 2000 by SGS institution from England. The ISO 9001: 2000 certification is for the whole system of the organization.
