HATO WOOD STAIN (Semi-Gloss) is highly water repellent, high-performance wood stain, and high technology. Formulated from special resin. It gives excellent adhesion, endurance, and control adsorption. Enhance the natural beauty of wood, allows the grain and texture to show through. Soft smell, separate of lead to be free from harm. Control absorption formula gives even stain color penetration and avoid patching effect. UV absorbers protect against the damaging effects of sunlight. Protects against mildew, mould, termites, weevils and fungal staining. The treatment can be applied as primer, intermediate and finish coat. (No primers or undercoats required)

New Surfaces Sand wood surface  with sandpaper until smooth
Fill all wood crack and hole by filler
Sand again until the smooth surface is obtained
Clean the surface until no dust remain
Old Surfaces If the surface has greatly deteriorated, strip the entire surface by sanding or chemical stripper to the bare wood
For coated wood which coating film still in good condition, sand old finishes lightly to improve adhesion
Clean the surface until no dust remain
  • Stir thoroughly before and occasionally during use.
  • In case if apply on the hardwood with low absorption rate, only on the first coat, dilute with Hato thinner
  • T-8000 5-10% for better penetration. 
  • Brush on a thin, even coat in the direction of the grain. To avoid lap marks, start at one edge and follow through the end of the boards. Let dry for 6-8 hours before next coat.
  • 3 Coats is recommended for exterior wood and 2 coats for interior wood.
  • Spray application dilute with Hato thinner T-8000 20-25%
